As PT Bintan Alumina Indonesia enters a critical phase of progress on its dual-track production and construction lines, personnel flow increases, and vehicle usage increases, traffic safety management also faces new challenges. Furthermore, differences in traffic conditions and driving habits between the two countries make traffic safety management a critical part of the company's operations.
To effectively address the challenges faced by Chinese employees in obtaining driver's licenses due to language and transportation barriers, the company's HSE Department proactively partnered with the local Indonesian police to implement an innovative "frontline service" model. This innovative approach created a dedicated channel for motorcycle and car driver's license applications within the company, effectively standardizing and facilitating the company's traffic management.
The HSE Department leveraged its coordination capabilities, integrating police and company resources to establish convenient service points within the company. This streamlined process enabled a one-stop shop for document review, identity verification, and other steps, allowing employees to quickly obtain their driver's licenses without having to leave the company premises.
Employees who participated in the driver's license application process stated that the process not only resolved practical difficulties but also made them feel the company's care and warmth, thus increasing their sense of belonging and happiness. According to statistics, the company has completed driver's license applications for over 400 Chinese employees, further strengthening the foundation of traffic safety management.
This event clearly demonstrates the company's commitment to implementing the principles of "integration, optimization, innovation, improvement, and development." By integrating police and company resources, optimizing service processes and employee experiences, the company continues to enhance the effectiveness of safety management. The company consistently prioritizes employee safety and compliance management, injecting continued momentum into its steady overseas business growth.
